As part of the entrepreneurship programme activities, the College of Veterinary Medicine held a scientific seminar entitled «Women in Creativity and Sustainable Entrepreneurship» on Monday, 9 February 2026.
The seminar was presented by Lecturer Iman Jabir Hassan and Asst. Lect. Hawraa Ahmed Mohammed. It addressed the role of women in promoting the concepts of creativity and innovation and their importance in supporting entrepreneurship and achieving sustainable development in various fields.
The seminar also highlighted successful models of women who have contributed to developing entrepreneurial projects, as well as reviewing ways of empowering women and developing their scientific and practical abilities in line with the requirements of the labour market.
