Solidarity and Appeal ....
College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah
Proceeding from its moral and administrative responsibility, the Deanship of the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah announces its full solidarity with the administrative and technical staff of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the decision to withhold university service allowances.
The Deanship calls for this appeal to be raised to the esteemed Council of Ministers so that the decision may be reconsidered, given its direct impact on job and institutional stability in universities.
The Deanship of the College affirms that university service allowances are an established legal right guaranteed by University Service Law No. (23) of 2008, which may not be infringed or restricted by an administrative decision, in keeping with the principle of legality and the hierarchy of legal rules.
It also stresses that administrative and technical staff are a fundamental pillar in supporting the educational process and contribute effectively to organising university work and ensuring its continuity, especially during examination periods and ongoing academic activities, and that any infringement of their job rights will have a negative impact on institutional performance and the educational environment.
Accordingly, the Deanship of the College of Education for Girls calls on the competent authorities to reconsider this decision in a manner that achieves job fairness, preserves the rights of higher education staff and strengthens the stability of academic institutions.
