organises an awareness activity entitled (Combating Drugs: Awareness and Responsibility)

Stemming from the keenness of the University of Shatrah / College of Education for Girls to spread awareness among students and promote positive values in society, the Department of Biology held an extracurricular activity entitled (Combating Drugs: Awareness and Responsibility), supervised by:

on Wednesday, 29 / 10 / 2025, in the presence of a group of students and female staff of the department.

The activity addressed the dangers of drug abuse and its social, psychological and health effects, and the importance of spreading awareness among young people and students to curb the spread of this dangerous scourge, stressing the role of academic institutions in building a generation that is aware and responsible towards itself and its society.

This activity is part of a series of educational and awareness programmes implemented by the College of Education for Girls, under the supervision and follow-up of Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College, in order to promote a safe and healthy university environment free of risky behaviours.
