The University of Shatrah participates in a workshop on building a university system to transform knowledge into economic value organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The University of Shatrah, represented by the Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohsen Hamad, and the official of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division, Eng. Mortada Hadi Ajram, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research A specialized workshop on building a university system to transform knowledge into economic value, In cooperation with the Clarivate Foundation, in the presence of a number of university presidents, researchers and experts.

The workshop included a specialized lecture presented by Dr. Ayman Aqeel and Dr. Walid Hassan from Clarivate Foundation, on the foundations of building an integrated university system to transform knowledge into economic value and mechanisms of knowledge management and innovation and linking them to productive sectors and the labor market. As well as reviewing a number of relevant experiences and practices.

The workshop witnessed a scientific discussion on ways to develop the institutional environment for innovation in Iraqi universities and mechanisms to activate partnerships with the public and private sectors and transform the outputs of scientific research and academic knowledge into applications with an economic and developmental impact.
