The President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Jarallah, participated in the meeting of the opinion panel on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at the headquarters of the Ministry, the meeting was chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Agency, Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi. The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of files related to the development of institutional performance in universities, as the Minister of Higher Education confirmed that the investigative committees in the Ministry's institutions are based on moral and legal responsibility aimed at correcting the course and maintaining institutional justice. Establishing the principles of integrity and fairness, noting that they represent a means of protecting the institution, organizing work, and addressing imbalances in accordance with the legal frameworks in force.
Following his participation in the meeting, the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Jarallah, stressed that the meetings of the opinion body represent an important station to unify visions and coordinate efforts between the Ministry of Higher Education and Iraqi universities. This contributes to enhancing academic and administrative performance and consolidating the principles of governance and institutional justice. He added that the University of Shatrah is keen to translate the Ministry's directives into action programs and initiatives that contribute to improving the educational process and serving the community.
