The President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Basem Abdul Hussein Al-Ghazi, received in his office today, Monday, July 20, 2026, Professor Dr. Najah Rasoul Al-Jabri, the former administrative assistant of the University of Dhi Qar, and Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Fartusi, President of the Society of Animal Physiology in Dhi Qar Governorate, and the delegation accompanying him.
During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest in the field of higher education and scientific research were discussed, in addition to discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the University of Shatrah and the Society of Animal Physiology in a way that contributes to supporting scientific and academic activities and developing joint research and training programs.
The President of the University stressed the keenness of the University of Shatrah to be open and cooperate with specialized scientific institutions and societies, in a way that enhances the university’s scientific standing and contributes to serving the educational and research process. He pointed out the importance of exchanging experiences and holding scientific events that contribute to developing the capabilities of teachers, researchers, and students.
For their part, the members of the visiting delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to Mr. President of the University for the good reception, appreciating the efforts of the University of Shatrah in supporting scientific and academic activities, and affirming their aspiration to build an effective partnership that contributes to achieving common goals and serving the scientific community in Dhi Qar Governorate.
